ZOBAYDA

ZOBAYDA is an Egyptian DJ and multidisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam. Guided by rhythm and
percussion, her sets center energy and the tradition of bringing people together. She blends sounds from the
Global South and its diaspora with a disregard for strict genre boundaries. Her broader practice spans film,
photography, audio-visual direction, archiving, and cultural programming. Within each medium, she explores
storytelling, memory, and sound as tools for gathering, reflection, and resistance.
